- October 2 School Custodian Appreciation Day, National 4-H Week- Go Green
- October 3 $1 T-shirt for Technology, 4-H Meeting, National 4-H Week- Hat Day
- October 4 National 4-H Week- 4H Sock Drive
- October 5 Bobcat Bonus- Favorite Sport Shirt- Shirts can represent ANY sport- football, basketball, Team LA, Voodoo Cheer, Saints, LSU, UL, etc. Jerseys/ cheer tops can be worn with a t-shirt underneath if they are sleeveless/netted/etc. Students must wear uniform bottoms.

Week of October 8, 2023-October 13, 2023
- Week of October 8th: Fire Prevention Week
- October 9 Virtual Learning Day Grades K-3 Virtual Learning Day- On Monday, October 9th, our Kindergarten- 3rd grade students will have a Virtual Learning Day. Chromebooks will be sent home on Friday, October 6th with all K-3rd students. Please have your child log in to Google Classroom on Monday, October 9th to review the items for the Virtual Learning Day. Chromebooks should be sent back to school with students on Tuesday, October 10th.

Week of October 15, 2023-October 20, 2023
- October 15 National Boss’s Day
- October 16 and 17, 2023-Fall Break- On Monday, October 16th, and Tuesday, October 17th, Vermilion Parish schools will be closed for Fall Break. Students and staff will return to campus on Wednesday, October 18th.
- October 19 Report Cards Go Home, Bobcat Bonus- Favorite Sport Shirt- Shirts can represent ANY sport- football, basketball, Team LA, Voodoo Cheer, Saints, LSU, UL, etc. Jerseys/ cheer tops can be worn with a t-shirt underneath if they are sleeveless/netted/etc. Students must wear uniform bottoms.
- October 20 $1 Jeans or Athletic Shorts/Pants, Honor Roll Reward, Fall Picture Make-Ups (only for students who were absent)
Week of October 23, 2023-October 27, 2023
- October 23rd- 27th Drug Free/ Bully Free Week. Tuesday 10/24 (Favorite Team Shirt with uniform bottoms); Wednesday 10/25 (Wear RED! Shirts, socks, shoes, bows, etc. Uniform bottoms must be worn); Thursday 10/26 (Wear a hat, cap, or headband), Friday 10/27 (Be Fab-BOO-lous- wear a fall/ Halloween shirt with uniform bottoms or jeans/ athletic bottoms for $1)
- October 23 50th Day of School Celebration 50th Day of School- Students may dress out of uniform in 50s style clothes. Girls may wear poodle skirts, cardigans, scarves tied around their necks, etc. Boys may wear rolled up jeans with white t-shirts, leather jackets, or any other 50s themed outfits!
- October 24 $1 T-shirt for Technology, Red Ribbon Week- Favorite Team Shirt
- October 25 PBIS Snack Cart, Red Ribbon Week- Wear RED!
- October 26 Bobcat Bonus- Favorite Sports Shirt, Red Ribbon Week- Hat Day
- October 27 $1 Jeans or Athletic Shorts/Pants, Red Ribbon Week- Be-Fab-Boo-Lous
Week of October 30-31, 2023
- October 31 Happy Halloween, Halloween/ Class Parties- Your child’s teacher will send home a flyer with guidelines for class parties. Students can wear Fall/ Halloween shirts for $1 as part of T-Shirt Tuesday with uniform bottoms.
Bobcat Bonus- Favorite Sport Shirt- Shirts can represent ANY sport- football, basketball, Team LA, Voodoo Cheer, Saints, LSU, UL, etc. Jerseys/ cheer tops can be worn with a t-shirt underneath if they are sleeveless/netted/etc. Students must wear uniform bottoms.
National 4-H Week- Monday 10/2 (Go Green- wear green shirts and accessories with uniform bottoms to kick off 4-H week); Tuesday 10/3 (Hat Day- Wear a hat with school uniforms or T-Shirts for $1); Wednesday 10/4 (Sock Day-Students who donate new, unused socks can wear crazy socks).
