Sept. 14, 2022

Dear Parents,

In conjunction with Erath High’s Homecoming Day, Dozier Elementary has designated Friday, October 7, 2022, as a free Blue and White Spirit Day in support of the Bobcats!

Students may wear a blue and white Erath Bobcat spirit shirt or a Dozier Elementary spirit shirt with their school uniform bottoms, blue jeans, or athletic bottoms. In addition, students may wear Bobcat jerseys with uniform bottoms, blue jeans, or athletic bottoms, as well as Bobcat cheerleader uniforms or any other Bobcat apparel.

Only students wearing the above items of clothing will be excused from wearing full uniforms. (No muscle shirts or spaghetti strap shirts. NO FACE PAINTING, BODY/FACE GLITTER, OR TATTOOS ALLOWED.)

Dozier Elementary, Erath Middle, and Erath High will have community visitations throughout our schools this year.

Dozier Elementary visitation will take place from 8:45-10:00. The following guidelines will be implemented:

- All visitors must obtain a Dozier Elementary ticket to enter for visitation. Tickets will be sent home prior to homecoming. All visitors on campus must sign in using their ticket and enter through the front entrance of the school. If you do not have a ticket, you must obtain one upon arrival at the ticket table. We highly suggest getting your tickets beforehand.

- No bags/purses of any kind will be allowed on campus.

- Strollers are not permitted.

- Dozier visitation ends promptly at 10 AM. We are asking for your cooperation in adhering to this time in order for students to eat lunch and prepare for movement to the parade site.

There will be no late check-in’s or check-out’s during visitation from 8:45-10:00. After the Homecoming parade (12:30 p.m.), students will return to their classrooms to await an approximate 1:30 p.m. dismissal. Students will not be allowed to check out after the parade. All check-out’s must be made between 10:45 and noon. In order to have a smooth, safe dismissal on this day, please allow your child(ren) to go home their normal way. There will be no Y.M.C.A. after school care on this day.
