Jesse Owens Elementary

Last week, JOES held it's D.A.R.E. graduation. 5th grade students have been receiving lessons on Drug Awareness from Officer Marcus Hebert over the fall semester, and on Monday, received their certificates. Fynn Guidry led the ceremony, and Andrew Thibodeaux and Caydence Hunter were chosen to read their essays on what they've learned during the program. Special thanks to Officer Marcus for his hard work in teaching the course, as well as to Captain Drew David for attending the ceremony and speaking to the students.
